Wray - Amanda Tinsley

Mrs. Amanda Catherine Wray, 205 Brook St, died at noon Wednesday in Culver Hospital. She was 78. Born March 30, 1884, she was the daughter of John S. and Lucy Easley Tinsley. She married Gus Wray Sept 14, 1904 in Crawfordsville. Mr. Wray, a builder and contractor died April 24, 1958. Mrs. Wray spent her entire life in this city. She was a member of the First Bpatist Church. Surviving are a son, Robert J J. Wray of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Endicott of Darlington and Mrs. Mason Fyffe of Crawfordsville; a niece, Mrs. Helen Crowley of Chicago; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lucius and Samuel R. Tinsley. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Bright's Funeral Home here with Rev. AL Vermillion of Darlington in charge. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday. - kbz
